Pre-Arrival & Visa Planning
- Short Visits: Most patients enter on a standard Social Visit Pass (Tourist Visa).
- Entering via Singapore: If you fly into Singapore (Changi Airport) to travel to Johor, ensure you meet the visa requirements for BOTH Singapore (transit/entry) and Malaysia.
- Option A (Nearest): Senai International Airport (JHB) in Johor Bahru (~30 mins to hospital).
- Option B (International Hub): Singapore Changi Airport (SIN). You will need to take a cross-border car transfer to the hospital (~1 – 1.5 hours via Tuas Second Link).
- Valid Passport (6+ months validity).
- Printed Medical Reports & X-Rays (in English).
- Appointment Confirmation Letter (Crucial if crossing the border from Singapore to prove purpose of visit).
Arrival Logistics (Senai Airport vs. Singapore)
Transport: Hospital shuttle (subject to availability) / Grab
- Distance: ~60 km.
- Travel Time: 1 hour – 1.5 hours (depending on customs traffic).
- Best Method: Private Cross-Border MPV.
- Why? You do not need to exit the vehicle at immigration (Tuas/CIQ). The driver handles the passport handover while you sit inside.
- Cost: SGD $80 – $120 per way.
- Bus Option: Causeway Link Bus CW7 travels from Tuas Link MRT (Singapore) directly to Mall of Medini (walking distance to hospital).
This is cheap but requires walking through customs with luggage.
No scheduled shuttle. We recommend using Grab or a private car.

Please proceed to the Health Screening Centre located on the 1st floor.
- Fasting: Please fast (no food, only plain water) for 8–10 hours before your appointment.
- Results: If screening is completed in the morning, the doctor typically reviews the report with you in the afternoon.
Insurance, Payment & Costs
- Insurance Acceptance: Yes. We accept Guarantee Letters (GL) from major international insurers (Cigna, Aetna, Bupa, International SOS, etc.).
- Procedure: Visit the Admission / Insurance Counter (Main Lobby) upon arrival.
- Currency Accepted: Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) only.
- Singapore Dollars (SGD): We do not accept SGD cash directly. Please change money at the airport or use a credit card.
- Single Room: ~RM265+ per night.
- 2-Bedded Room: ~RM140+ per night.
- Note:
- Room rates are estimates only.
- Rates are significantly lower than Singapore private hospitals. Rates exclude nursing fees and doctor visits.
- Medical Cases: ~RM3,000 – RM5,000.
- Surgical Cases: Full estimated bill amount required.
