Pre-Arrival & Visa Planning

  • Short Visits (Check-ups/Consultation)Most international patients enter on a standard Social Visit Pass (Tourist Visa).
  • Long-Term Treatment (>30 Days): If you require intensive treatment (e.g. cancer care or stroke rehabilitation), we can assist you in applying for a Medical e-Visa through the Malaysia Healthcare Travel Council (MHTC). Please contact us at +62 21 27899822 or via email [email protected] before you book your flight ticket.

  • Valid passport (6+ months validity).
  • Printed medical reports and X-rays (in English).
  • List of current medications.
  • Hospital appointment letter (digital or printed) – immigration officers may ask for this.

All foreign patients are advised to complete pre-arrival preparations, including confirming passport validity and visa requirements, before traveling to Malaysia for medical treatment.

Most countries such as China and India have been granted visa-free access to enter Malaysia for the past two years under the current government policy. Currently, Bangladeshi citizens are still required to obtain a visa before entering Malaysia.

Patients who require a Medical Visa (Special Medical Visa / Follow Passport Visa) must apply through the Malaysia Healthcare Travel Council (MHTC). This is especially valid for countries that still require a valid visa to enter Malaysia.

For patients from Bangladesh, a valid entry visa is required. Please ensure your visa has been approved before confirming your travel dates.

We can assist by providing medical appointment letters or necessary hospital documentation if required for medical visa applications through MHTC.
