Pre-Arrival & Visa Planning
- Short Visits (Check-ups/Consultation): No. Most international patients enter on a standard Social Visit Pass (Tourist Visa).
- Long-Term Treatment (>30 Days): If you require intensive treatment (e.g., Cancer care, Heart Surgery), we can assist you in applying for a Medical Visa through the Malaysia Healthcare Travel Council (MHTC).
- Yes, via the MHTC Meet & Greet Service at KLIA (Terminal 1 or 2).
- How to book: You must request this at least 3 working days in advance via our International Patient Centre (IPC). The request is based on availability.
- What happens: An MHTC officer will meet you at the aerobridge and guide you through the dedicated medical lane.
- Valid Passport (6+ months validity).
- Printed Medical Reports & X-Rays (in English).
- Appointment Confirmation Letter (Digital or Printed).
Arrival in Kuala Lumpur (Airport Logistics)
- Distance: ~58 km.
- Travel Time: 50–60 minutes by car.
- KLIA (Terminal 1): Level 1, Door 3 or 4.
- KLIA 2 (Terminal 2): Level 1, Transportation Hub (follow signs for "E-Hailing").
- Note: Do not wait at the Arrival Hall (Level 3/Level 2); you must go down to the transportation level.
- Yes, you must request this at least 2 working days prior to arrival date. This request is based on availability.
- If fully booked: we recommend using Grab (most convenient).
- Alternatively, take the KLIA Ekspres Train to KL Sentral, then a short taxi ride (approx. 10–15 mins) to the hospital.
